Loyola University Chicago Hosts Fourth Annual China Symposium
What:
Loyola University Chicago will host the fourth annual China Symposium, presented by the Chicago chapter of the U.S.–China Peoples Friendship Association (USCPFA)
The symposium will feature ten “China Topics,” presentations given in the areas of arts and philosophy; commerce; and society, science, and technology by leading authorities from Chicagoland universities, museums, and businesses. The programming will include a keynote address given by Guy Alitto, history professor at the University of Chicago, on The Jesuits and the Opening of China and Europe to Each Other Starting in 1600.
