Charlie Trotter Hosts Fundraiser for Loyola University Museum of Art’s Exhibition–The Missing Peace
What:
Chef Charlie Trotter is hosting an inspiring evening and elegant reception in support of The Missing Peace: Artists Consider the Dalai Lama, an international art exhibition and educational project running October 28, 2006 – January 15, 2007 at the Loyola University Museum of Art (LUMA).
All of the exhibit’s works, donated by artists such as Richard Gere, Chuck Close, Laurie Anderson, etc., will be available for purchase at the dinner. Proceeds from the sale will benefit the worldwide exhibition and related educational programs. Remaining funds will support The Committee of 100 for Tibet and The Dalai Lama Foundation, the non-profit co-sponsors of The Missing Peace.

The Missing Peace: Artists Consider the Dalai Lama is an international, multimedia, contemporary art exhibition and educational project designed to engage people in thinking about, talking about, experiencing, and creating peace.
