Loyola Takes on ACDA 2017

At the end of March, 13 students and 2 lovely faculty members had the opportunity to go the annual American College Dance Association conference at Wichita State University.  The conference brings together dance majors from various colleges where they are able to take class with professors as well as present both student and faculty works.  This is a fantastic way to meet other artists, perform for new audiences, and take class in unique genres.  With a week full of classes and performances, they still found time to make new friends, be silly, and do lots (and lots) of site specific improv. It was a wonderful week that left our dancers tired yet inspired, and they’d like to thank everybody that made it happen. Enjoy our recap video, created by Sarah Fluegel!
