Health Law Alum Colleen Boraca Selected to Head Health Advocacy Clinic
Loyola University Chicago School of Law alum Colleen Boraca has been named a clinical assistant professor at Northern Illinois University College of Law. Ms. Boraca, who earned her JD degree with a certificate in health law from Loyola, previously worked as a supervising attorney at AIDS Legal Council of Chicago and as an Assistant State’s Attorney for the Cook County State’s Attorney. She has also taught as an adjunct instructor in the Beazley Institute’s Health Justice Project. Her clinic at NIU will feature teams of lawyers, medical professionals and social workers trained to simultaneously address the legal, medical and social needs of the area’s homeless and low-income population.
