Winter 2021 Call for Submissions

Italian Americana is seeking scholarly and creative submissions for future issues. Italian Americana is a double-blind peer-review journal that has previously published the works of scholars such as Donna Gabaccia and Stefano Luconi. We accept scholarly articles in any discipline related to the topic of the Italian experience in the Americas throughout the year. We also welcome poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction on any topic. The deadline for submitting poetry and other creative works for the Winter 2021 issue is November 1, 2020 (extended from previous deadline of October 15, 2020).

Please note that if submitting POETRY or any other CREATIVE work, the writer must be of Italian American heritage (on either side of the family). Past contributors to the journal’s poetry and creative writing sections include Dana Gioia, Sandra Gilbert, Peter Covino, and Kim Addonizio.
