He has also held faculty appointments as Research Associate Professor of Counseling and Higher Education at the University of North Texas and Assistant Professor of Higher Education (affiliate) at Ohio University. As Assistant Provost for Student Academic Services at Loyola, Dale will report to Dr. Patrick Boyle, Vice Provost for Academic Centers and Global Initiatives, and will oversee and coordinate the services of several areas that support student academic success and enhance our students’ engagement with the University, its faculty and staff. These include Academic Advising and Academic Support Services, Career Development, the ACE (Achieving College Excellence) Program, First Year Experience, Learning Communities and Fellowship Office.
I want to thank Pat Boyle for chairing the search committee for this important position and also thank the faculty and staff who participated in the interviews of candidates and finalists. I am grateful that Dr. Tampke has brought his talent and energy to Loyola and its continued efforts on behalf of our students and their success. Please share this information within your units and join me in welcoming him Dale to Loyola.
