Loyola Limited hosts first Student-Run Business Conference
In an effort to provide student entrepreneurs with a national platform for collaboration, professional development, and self-promotion, Loyola Limited, Loyola University Chicago’s student-run and managed business enterprise, will host the nation’s first annual Student-Run Business Conference on February 7 – 9, 2014.
The conference seeks to provide solutions to the theme, “From Local Favorite to Nationally Known: How to Make a Name for Your Business.”
Arsen Avakian, CEO and co-founder of Argo Tea, will serve as the keynote speaker. Several entrepreneurial experts such as Raaja Nemani, CEO and founder of Bucketfeet, and Francis Wisniewski, prominent venture capitalist, will also present at the conference.
Schools such as Brown University, Northwestern University, University of Pennsylvania, and University of Dayton will be represented at the conference.
The keynote address is open to the public and will take place on Saturday, February 8, 2014, at 1 p.m., at the Information Commons, Fourth Floor.
