Dear Loyola Community,
You are cordially invited to attend two events this summer to engage the mission of Saint Ignatius of Loyola and honor his Feast Day of July 31.
Ignatian Service Project: Friday, July 26
Loyola staff, faculty, and retirees will volunteer at Misericordia in Rogers Park and at Catholic Charities Early Childhood Development Centers, located throughout the south and west side of Chicago, on Friday, July 26. Full details on the service projects, departure times, and transportation are available now at the registration page. To learn more, or to register, click here. Registration for individuals or small groups is open through Friday, July 19.
The University will also conduct an on-campus supply drive in the weeks leading up to Service Day. Collection boxes will be available at all campuses to gather materials for Catholic Charities Early Childhood Development Centers. For donation information, click here.
Mass and Picnic: Wednesday, July 31
On Wednesday, July 31, the University will celebrate the Feast Day of Saint Ignatius of Loyola with a Mass in Madonna della Strada Chapel at 11 a.m. and our annual picnic on the East Quad at 12:15 p.m. All are welcome to attend.
