Temporary Campus Road closure on April 27
On Saturday, April 27, the Kenmore/Sheridan Road entrance to the Lake Shore Campus will be temporarily shut down from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. due to the removal/replacement of the defective power transformer for the Quinlan Life Sciences Building. Due to the size of the heavy equipment needed to remove/install the transformers, both lanes of campus road will be shut down east of Flanner Hall.
With the main campus road entrance closed, the Winthrop/Sheridan Road campus exit will become a temporary entrance/exit for the campus.
At Winthrop/Sheridan, the west curb lane will remain the campus exiting lane. The east curb lane will become the campus entering lane. Vehicles will only be able to enter the parking structure after entering campus. Upon turning on to campus, follow the east curb lane to the Flanner/Cuneo intersection. Turn left into the shuttle bus area and proceed to the parking garage or to exit campus.
There will traffic signs and cones to assist those entering/exiting the campus. There will also be Campus Safety officers and Facilities staff members present to assist with traffic control.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
