Three members of the Loyola University Chicago 1963 men’s basketball team, which won the NCAA Championship, will be honored prior to the Chicago Cubs game versus the Milwaukee Brewers on April 10 at Wrigley Field.

John Egan, Rich Rochelle, and Chuck Wood will throw out a ceremonial first pitch prior to the 7 p.m. contest and the trio will lead the crowd in the singing of Take Me Out to the Ballgame during the seventh inning stretch.

The 2012-13 basketball season was a year-long celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Ramblers’s historic accomplishment of winning the NCAA title, and to this day, Loyola is the only school from the state of Illinois to have won a NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship.
