System outage scheduled for WTC
On Saturday, January 5, Information Technology Services (ITS) will be moving equipment into a new data center at the Water Tower Campus. Between 6:30 a.m. and 11 p.m. access to WTC workstations, WTC GroupWise e-mail accounts, WTC file servers, and access to the wireless network at WTC will be unavailable. This new data center facility has improved cooling, power, and space, all of which will help improve system availability and disaster recovery capabilities. Once this move has been completed, all key WTC IT systems will reside in this new facility.
