National Nutrition Month at Loyola

Loyola Community,

March is National Nutrition Month, and as part of the University’s 2012 Wellness Program, Human Resources is hosting three “Nutrition in a Nutshell” Wellness Wednesday presentations in the coming weeks.

Nutrition in a Nutshell

  • March 21 – 12:30–1:30 p.m. in Bremner Lounge, Centennial Forum Student Union, Lake Shore Campus
  • March 28 – 12:30–1:30 p.m. in Terry Student Center, Room 303, Water Tower Campus
  • March 28 – 1–2 p.m. in the Loyola Health and Fitness Center Conference Room, Health Sciences Campus

Presentations will run for approximately 45 minutes and a Q&A will be held as well. Refreshments and a healthy snack will be served at each session.

Also, please note that there are still spaces available in the Weight Watchers classes on all three campuses. More information is available here.

Coming in April
April is Dental Health Month. Also in April, the University will announce plans for a University Run/Walk Challenge that will pit faculty and staff department teams against Northwestern University and DePaul University employees. Look for more details in April.
