Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky at Loyola on Monday
Inside Government, a non-partisan student organization, is hosting a lecture with the Honorable Jan Schakowsky, congresswoman for Illinois’s 9th Congressional District. Congresswoman Schakowsky was first elected in 1998 and is currently in her seventh term. She has played leading roles in the Patient Protection Act and Affordable Care Act. The Congresswoman serves on the Energy & Commerce Committee and the Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence.
Join Inside Government on Monday, March 12, from 6:30 to 8 p.m., in the Simpson Multipurpose Room. Dinner and refreshments will be provided.
