Interactive: Find Your Chicago Bike Shop
Chicago has nearly 300 miles of bike paths and dedicated bike lanes. To make the most of them this spring, visit one of Chicago’s many specialty bike stores to find your perfect set of wheels.
“It’s important to find and support a shop that appreciates and understands cycling the same way you do,” said Manuel Tenorio, owner of local bike shop Johnny Sprockets.
Whether you’re looking for an inexpensive urban bike or a top-of-the-line racing bike, there’s a shop that will cater to your needs.
“There are shops that focus on very specific categories. This can be a reaction to a certain neighborhood’s needs or the preferences of the shop owner or it might just be about experience,” said Tenorio.
