The 8 Best Apps for Summer Travel

Ah, summertime, you probably promised yourself you wouldn’t sit on the couch in your Lays crusted jammies vegging out to a day long television marathon, but here you are.

It’s time to wipe that drool off your face and download the following 8 apps to help you transform your vacation into more than just memories of America’s Next Top Model.

Craig Treston, a Loyola senior who works at the IT help desk on the Water Tower Campus thinks that apps are especially useful in the summer. “In the summer, students have more time to use apps, and there’s a lot of useful ones that make it easy to find cool stuff to do” he said.

According to Treston, the most useful apps include integration with other services such as Google maps or Yelp.

Dust off the crust, get off the couch and do all that stuff you said you were going to do once you were free from those all-nighters at the library.
