Local artist makes up his own rules

By Emily Study

With no formal training or education, Paul Yoggerst, 41, began painting in 2006.

Yoggerst uses his Andersonville apartment as both a workspace and a gallery — he paints in his kitchen and sells his paintings outside the apartment complex each weekend.

Visit Yoggerst’s sale outside his apartment complex on West Farragut Avenue each Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. “Art sale” chalkings around the neighborhood will direct viewers to the (informal) gallery.

Connect with Yoggerst on Facebook.
