The Loyola Ramblers took the Cincinnati Bearcats to overtime in the 1963 NCAA Championship game. In a game that was close throughout its entirety, Loyola scored at the end of overtime putting them ahead of the Bearcats by only two points. Loyola has yet to win another national title since the 1963 season.
