Advocate is Loyola University Chicago’s LGBTQA (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and ally) group that strives to create a safe space and engaging place for the LUC community, according to their official Facebook page.

One special event that Advocate holds every year that people look forward to is their annual Drag Show. The Drag Show allows students to participate, attending workshops, and learning from the event host, Kahmora Hall. Grady Schroeder, the organization’s Co-President, believes that drag is an important part to the LGBT community and serves a great purpose.

“The Drag Show is a chance for those that want to really have fun and express their individuality.”
