CUBS: New Major League Debut Kris Bryant

Kristin Sax is avid Cubs fan and shares her thoughts on Bryant’s debut:

After an amazing beginning at Wrigley Field against the two rivals the Cardinals and the Rockies, the Cubs are off to a great start. They may have had some setbacks with the bathrooms but they have a great system going now. They are starting the year with a 5-3 record better than last year. Some people may have low hopes for the Cubs but there seems to be some new spirit arriving. Maybe the goat will lose this one after all. Yesterday the Chicago Cubs promoted Kris Bryant in order to create a path for the major league debut.

Here is a little information on the Cubbies new top prospect. His record in the minors makes him a great asset to the Chicago Cubs. He was the MVP for the Arizona Fall League and the leading hitter in home runs. In 2013 he was the second draft pick for the San Diego Padres. Now he has a chance to play against them. The Chicago Cubs have a deal with him until 2020. Let’s see what can happen, and if Chicago’s home team can make it this year and win the World Series!
