The JFRC life

It was the first real weekend to travel independently, and a group of friends and I decided to explore the Amalfi Coast. and boy, it was an adventure. Two trains and a bus ride later, we stayed in a hostle nestled into the cliffs with superior views of the sea. We went to the beach, the Island of Capri, the city of Sorrento, and not to mention way too much gelato, pasta and pizza.

We might be only three weeks into the semester, but it is flying by. Classes here at JFRC are in full force, and on top of a 21st birthday, traveling, tutoring people in English, and figuring my way around Rome (which is an interesting story in itself), it can get crazy.

This week, I also attended the Student Activities Committee (SAC) meeting here at JFRC. I am in the process of setting up a Quinlan ‘social’- a meeting of of both business and non-business students along with business professors here in Rome. The idea is to form cohesion between Quinlan students while providing  information to students who might be interested in what Quinlan has to offer – students in the Rome Start program or other undecided majors.

This next week will consist of a papal audience, Ostia Antica, Pisa and much much more. Stay tuned!
