Public symposium, 12/3: “Economic Outlook for 2013: Beyond the Fiscal Cliff”
Loyola’s Quinlan School of Business will be hosting a public symposium on December 3rd: “Economic Outlook for 2013: Beyond the Fiscal Cliff”. Bill Strauss, Senior Economist and Economic Advisor for the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, and Asha Bangalore, Senior Vice President and Economist for Northern Trust Bank, will speak frankly about economic issues we will likely face in the year to come. They will be joined by Quinlan economics professor Marc Hayford and finance professor George Kaufman. It is sure to be an interesting event for those of us wondering what’s in store for our nation if/when the Budget Control Act goes into effect and those of us who are curious about how the new regulations will impact our taxes and the impending debt ceiling. Join us at 111 E. Pearson St. to hear from the experts about these topics and more.
