U.S. Presidential Management Fellows Program Office Announces 2013 Semi-Finalists

On December 19, 2012, the PMF Program Office selected approximately 1,600 (of 12,000 applicants) Masters level graduates as semi-finalists for the PMF award. Loyola University Chicago had five semi-finalists – three from the Masters of Urban Affairs and Public Policy (MUAPP) Program. We would like to congratulate Evan Phillips, Julie Glasier, and Tim Hacker from the Master of Public Policy 2013 graduating class. The complete list of semi-finalists is available on the PMF website at http://www.pmf.gov/become-a-pmf/current-semi-finalists.aspx.

The PMF Program is a national competition with the finalists getting high priority for federal government jobs where they work in rotation across several agencies for two years. This is one of the best methods for starting a career in federal government, and it provides a great learning experience.
