Announcement: Pre-Doctoral Teaching Scholars Fellowship
The Graduate School’s Pre-Doctoral Teaching Scholars Fellowship program is designed to assist advanced graduate students in their preparation as scholar-teachers by providing a series of experiences, activities, and responsibilities appropriate to the scholar-teacher. These include teaching two courses from the undergraduate curriculum and participating in the Graduate School’s Teaching Effectiveness Seminar.
The fellowship is for August 15, 2013 through May 15, 2014 and provides a stipend of $14,000, a tuition scholarship, and health insurance. This award is available for advanced Ph.D. students in participating departments in the College of Arts and Sciences only.
NOTE: The Department Evaluation form and other supporting material for 2013-2014 Pre-Doctoral Teaching Scholars Program applicants must be received by the student’s department by December 7, 2012. All other required application material must be complete and received in the Graduate School’s office (Granada Center 400, LSC) by January 7, 2013 at 5:00 p.m.
