After a busy quarter, a small trip is the best thing to recover your mind. America is a great place to travel in and there is a lot of stuff to see. Even if you only have the weekend, you can visit many interesting nearby areas: Wisconsin, Michigan and Indiana. If you have a little longer time off from your school, you can go much farther.
This spring, I and three of my Turkish friends planned to travel California. We were so excited because we would see new places and cities. You don’t need to worry much about your travel plans. Everything is so easy in the US. All you have to do is just decide on your preference. The internet is the easiest way to buy anything from your home without going anywhere. We bought our flight tickets and hotel rooms from www.priceline.com. And we rented a car for our nice trip.
The first place we went on our trip was San Diego. San Diego is a small city on the beach, not quite as big as Chicago. You can feel peace when you walk on the street. People seem friendly and lovely. At the day, you can visit some places that are really nice. Walking on the beach at sunset gives you best feeling.
The second place is Los Angeles. To be honest, I didn’t like Los Angeles as much as I like Chicago. Los Angeles seems a little dirty and is an old city. But there is a lot of stuff to see in LA. You should allocate at least three days. You should visit especially Universal Studios, Venice Beach, Disneyland, Hollywood and Santa Monica.
The third place we went was Las Vegas. In my opinion, Vegas was the best city in our trip. Las Vegas is an amazing city, but it is deceptive. You have to be careful for your money. They want you to spend all of it in the casinos and at shows. Gambling is fun, but be careful! Don’t lose all of your money. There are a lot of different and amazing hotels that are beautiful from each other.
After our trip I noticed that I am in the right city and right school. I am glad to live In Chicago and study at Loyola….
