Ariana Lewis, Help Desk Supervisor with Information Technology Services, chimes in this week with information about Loyola’s recommended proctoring service:
With the large number of tasks students and faculty carry out within both their professional and personal life, there is an occasional need or two for an on-demand test option. On-demand testing allows students to complete an exam anytime of the day, anywhere in the world. Alternatively, Faculty may need an exam proctored yet they aren’t available due to an unforeseen conflict.
Have you experienced proctored exams? Are you aware of Loyola’s recommended proctoring service provider, ProctorCam? ProctorCam provides proctoring service options ranging from electronic recording to live proctoring so exams can be administered without requiring a traditional (on-site) classroom visit for online, traditional and/or blended courses. The flexibility provides students with an opportunity to complete an exam from the comfort of their home, which in turn can offer a comfortable environmental experience less the traditional anxiety often experienced during an exam.
If you would like to learn more, please visit the ProctorCam page on the ITS website for more information regarding proctoring @ Loyola.
