In Fall 2010, FCIP and Instructional Technology and Research Support (ITRS) collaborated on an initial assessment of Loyola’s clicker solution, i>clicker. As part of this assessment, all faculty i>clicker users and their students were surveyed to gauge their impressions of the technology as well as how it was being used in the classrooms. The assessment results were largely positive, both from faculty and students.
Given the increased use of the technology, FCIP and ITRS collaborated again in Fall 2012 to conduct a follow-up assessment. Once again, all faculty i>clicker users and their students were surveyed on their use and impressions of i>clickers. In addition, faculty users were also asked about their interest in adopting a newer version of clickers that allows for alphanumeric responses.
