Last week the farm welcomed 50 baby tilapia into the aquaponics tank! Aaron, who has been the farmer in charge of putting this project together, is as excited as ever!

We started out with 50 fish to monitor how they do in the tank. There are a few plants in the growbed above the tank, and more will be added as the fish adjust to the water. The pH of the water, temperature, and eating habits of the fish are being studied currently. More updates will be coming soon as the system is figured out and the fish grow.
