2011-12 Outstanding Local Excellence Award

2011-12 Outstanding Local Excellence Award

The School of Education’s Future Teachers/Illinois Education Association Student Organization was awarded the 2011-2012 Outstanding Local Excellence Award by the National Education Association (NEA). The NEA Student Program Local Excellence Award recognizes Local Student Chapters that have achieved excellence throughout the year by providing members with leadership and development opportunities in the areas of teacher quality, community outreach and political action.

Senn-Loyola School Partnership

On Wednesday, August 15th eleven School of Education faculty joined the staff of Senn High School to welcome incoming freshmen and their families to the school. The orientation was kicked off by Principal Susan Lofton, who also expressed excitement for the new Senn-Loyola partnership intended to support student success for years to come. more with slide show
