Alumnus Hired as LaGrange’s Assistant Superintendent
LaGrange School District 102 has hired Dr. Christopher L. Finch (EdD ‘2013) to be the new Assistant Superintendent for Teaching and Learning beginning July 1, 2016. Dr. Finch is currently an elementary principal at Westmoor School in Northbrook School District 28. A 2013 graduate of Loyola University of Chicago, Dr. Finch received his doctoral degree from Loyola’s School Education in Administration and Supervision. His dissertation was titled, The Rebel Leader: A Sequential Explanatory Mixed Methods Analysis of Rebel Superintendents in Suburban Public Schools and was chaired by Dr. Marla Israel, Associate Professor. Dr. Finch also holds degrees from Northwestern University, Roosevelt University and Augustana College. He has been a public school administrator for 11 years and was a public school music and drama teacher for 8 years. Congratulations Dr. Finch!
