On Friday, October 16, three Loyola teacher candidates, Julia Sands, Leonard Martinez, and Andrew Rawlins, attended the Illinois Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ICTFL) conference in Tinley Park, IL with their professor, Kristin Davin. They networked with other language teachers from around the state of IL and learned more about a proficiency-based approach to foreign language teaching. Leonard Martinez received an ICTFL Fund for the Future award and also won a raffle.
