Student Presented at National Science Teachers Association Conference
Emma Haney presented at the National Science Teachers Association (NSTA – Chicago 2015) conference in a session geared toward middle grades educators. Her presentation focused on interdisciplinary inquiry projects that are tied to local and personally meaningful issues. She shared lessons she learned through engaging in an inquiry project herself on food equity, and how this experience helped her think about designing dynamic learning opportunities for her future students.
