The Senior Hall of Fame – Governor’s Unique Achievement Awards
Our very own Dr. Phillip Carlin, Emeriti Faculty (BSED ’51, MEd ’53, EdD ’66), was inducted into the Senior Hall of Fame on October 23, 2013 in Springfield, Illinois. Phil was on the faculty in the School of Education from 1974- 1999. The Senior Hall of Fame was created by the Legislature in 1994 to honor Illinois residents age 65 or older who excel in the categories of community service, education, performance/graphic arts, and the labor force, in regard to their employment.
