Terri Pigott, PhD – Associate Dean for Academic Programs

As of July 1, 2013 Dr. Therese (Terri) Pigott assumes full responsibility as the Associate Dean for Academic Services in the School of Education. Dr. Pigott received her Ph.D. in Measurement, Evaluation and Statistical Analysis from the University of Chicago in 1992. She was formerly an associate professor at National-Louis University, and an associate program officer at the Spencer Foundation in Chicago. Her research interests are statistical methods for meta-analysis, and methods for handling missing data in statistical analysis. She is a Co-Chair and Editor of the Methods Group of the Campbell Collaboration, an international organization that produces systematic reviews of social interventions. She is also a member of the Society for Research Synthesis Methodology. Dr. Pigott teaches courses on research methodology, statistics, meta-analysis and hierarchical linear modeling. She joined Loyola in 1998 as faculty in the Research Methods program and was promoted to full professor in 2011.
