A Community of Scholars – 2012 Research Symposium

The School of Education’s Student Development Committee invites students, staff and faculty to engage in the 14th Annual Research Symposium, a Community of Scholars, on Saturday, April 21st from 8:30am-2:30pm. The keynote speaker opening the event is Dr. Kevin Kumashiro, President of the National Association of Multicultural Education and Founder of The Center for Anti-Oppressive Pedagogy. Undergraduate and graduate students will showcase what they have learned through their research experiences, while also providing an opportunity for faculty and students in the School of Education and larger Loyola community to discuss current research topics in education.

The program includes over 30 presentations by faculty and students. Lunch will be provided and Amazon Kindles will be raffled off to those in attendance at the 2:30pm closing. Symposium attendance is open to anyone interested and an RSVP is strongly encouraged. More Details
