About CEPS

The Cultural and Educational Policy Studies (CEPS) program in the School of Education at Loyola University Chicago offers an M.Ed., an M.A. as well as a Ph.D. degree. We also offer an undergraduate minor in Education Policy Studies. Faculty and students in the program use the tools of the social sciences and the humanities to study issues of educational policy and practice with an overarching emphasis on social justice.

Welcome (back) to CEPS!

Hello,

I hope that everyone has had a good start to the academic year. Please join me in welcoming Valerie Collier, our new Program Coordinator, to CEPS. She is a highly experienced Program Coordinator for other School of Education programs, but we are just now getting the opportunity to work with her.

Please stay tuned for our first CEPS newsletter, which should be published within the next 1-2 weeks. This newsletter will feature information about events within the School of Education as well as the broader Chicago education community, job postings, and information about upcoming academic conferences and their submission deadlines.

If you have questions or suggestions related to our blog, or news to share, please let me know at kphillippo@luc.edu. I look forward to working with you this year!

Best regards,

Kate Phillippo
Associate Professor and Program Chairperson
