Loyola University Chicago announces a new M.Ed. degree in International Higher Education beginning Fall 2012. This master’s program will provide students with deep knowledge of the changing landscape of higher education globally and will prepare them to work in multiple areas including higher education policy, administration, international student affairs and study abroad.
A collaboration between Loyola’s Higher Education and Cultural & Educational Policy Studies / Comparative International Education programs, the unique Global Cohort format of this degree program will ensure that this opportunity for advanced study and professional preparation is available to students who are based anywhere around the world.
Coursework in this program will be online with the exception of two blended courses that will require students to travel to Loyola’s campuses in Beijing and Rome, for a one-week and two-week session respectively. There is additionally an internship requirement that may be completed in the student’s country of residence or at another location arranged by the student.
