Get your tickets for Urinetown!
As the semester begins to wind down, we at the Department of Fine and Performing Arts still have plenty of events ready to keep you entertained until summer. One of the most anticipated events of our 2012-13 season will be the mainstage theatre finale, Urinetown, opening next Friday, April 12th.
Running until April 21st, this “quirky musical satire pokes fun at society’s bad habits and musical theatre itself as it poses the question: How far would you go for the privilege to pee?” We urge patrons to book their seats in advance as our end-of-the-year productions tend to sell out very quickly! General admission seats run for $15 but students (Loyola and non-Loyola, alike), seniors, and alumni all receive discounts. Faculty and staff may use their complimentary ticket promotional codes if they haven’t already done so for a previous production upon checking out on our online ticketing page.
A preview performance of Urinetown will also be held Thursday, April 11th at 7:30PM. Tickets for this event are not sold in advance but can be purchased at the door the night of the performance.
If you’d like to get the latest details on this forthcoming production, be sure to check out the DFPA’s blog, Arts Alive, in addition to reading the posts from the show’s very own dramaturg. Hope to see you at a performance!
