Q. I understand that I can post an exam on Blackboard in such a way that I can tell what day and time the student opened the exam so that I can time their responses.  Can you tell me how to do that?

A. Once you have created the test and have deployed it to a content area, you will need to Modify the Test Options.  There will be the option to set the timer to whatever period of time you like.  You will be able to see the time the student took to take the exam recorded in the Grade Center.
