Home Page Module Unavailable for Students

Q. My students are saying they see this message when they click on the Home Page link in my course menu: ” Warning: The Module is unavailable. You may have access to other parts of the course.”  What can I do to fix this?

A. You need to make sure you have turned on the Modules page under Tools in Blackboard. 

  1. Go to Control Panel > Customization > Tool Availability.
  2. Check the  box for Available in Content Area.
  3. Click the Submit button.
