On Sunday June 27th, 2010, between the hours of 01:00 am and 05:00 am US Central, Blackboard Managed Hosting Engineers will be doing a service restart of Loyola’s hosted BBLS Blackboard Production site. Blackboard anticipates less than one hour of service interruption.
Starting Friday, June 25th, Blackboard Managed Hosting will proactively apply the necessary updates to resolve a security vulnerability on all affected Managed Hosting environments. This update requires one service restart which will be performed between the hours of 1am – 5am CDT. A one (1) hour interruption of service is anticipated during this time.
On Friday, June 11th, 2010 between the hours of 01:00 am and 05:00 am US Central, Blackboard’s Managed Hosting Engineers will be performing preventative maintenance at their VA2 data center. This maintenance is not expected to be service impacting, however they are performing the work during the regular weekly maintenance window to minimize any potential risk of service interruption.
On Sunday June 13th 2010, during the hours of 2:00 am to 4:00 am Central Daylight Time, Blackboard will be performing a system restart of our environment. The maintenance will result in a brief service disruption as both the database and application servers must be restarted in order for the fix to take effect.
