Periodically, Blackboard’s Managed Hosting Engineers use the regular weekly Friday maintenance window of 01:00 am to 05:00 am US Central to do proactive and preventive maintenance to ensure the health of our systems and network infrastructure.

This Friday November 20th, 2009 between the hours of 01:00 am to 05:00 am US Central, the Managed Hosting Network Infrastructure Team will be performing such preventative maintenance at Blackboard’s VA2 data center. This maintenance is not expected to be service impacting, however Blackboard is performing the work during the normal maintenance window to minimize any potential risk of service interruption.

During Blackboard’s regular scheduled maintenance window of 01:00 a.m. to 05:00 a.m. Central Time on Friday November 6th, 2009, Managed Hosting Network Engineers will do an emergency maintenance at Blackboard’s Virginia Data Center 2.

Although no service interruption is expected, we are informing you as a precaution since work is being done on a device that connects to our systems.
