We’ve Got a Badge For That: Near Death Experiences, Puppy Love, Pyromania and Peach Schnapps
OCT 20 | Thurs. 7:30 PM | 409 Studio Performance Lab | Free
Girl Scouts can be an excellent vehicle for life experiences, but the lessons it holds are hardly limited to wilderness training and cookie sales. Kelli Strickland’s new one-woman show, which premiered at this past summer’s Fillet of Solo festival, explores her own adventures with the Scouts, including near-death experiences, puppy love, pyromania, and Peach Schnapps. We’ve Got a Badge for That arrives at Loyola as part of National Coming Out Month.
Strickland is a Loyola theatre instructor and most recently appeared in Chekhov’s The Cherry Orchard at the Raven Theatre, where she also serves as director of education and outreach.
