Summer Courses at Columbia University School of the Arts

Move over mundane summer vacation plans! It’s time to take a fantastic trip to Columbia University School of the Arts for a summer full of artistic “aweome-ness” !

This coming summer of 2013, Columbia University will be once again hosting their distinguished Arts program which aims to refine, nurture, and develop the  artistic talents of 300 lucky students. The chosen individuals will be able to participate in a diverse series of workshops, master classes, as well as credit and non-credit courses in Film, Writing, Theatre, and Visual Arts. They will also have the remarkable opportunity to work with internationally renowned artists and arts scholars on Columbia’s campus in New York City as well as Columbia’s Global Centers around the world.

Whether you consider your abilities to be at the stage of blooming or booming, it doesn’t matter! The University welcomes all levels of experience!

Volunteer Opportunity at Joffrey Ballet Exhibition

Are you a lover of dance?! Do you also have a knack for lending a helping hand!? Well do we have an opportunity for you!

The Joffrey Ballet is searching for volunteers to assist prepartions for the 3rd Annual Pointe of Departure Benefit taking place on Thursday, February 7th . While volunteering with the company, you will help in setting up for the series of artwork that needs to be displayed for the event.

If any students are interested, The Joffrey Ballet company will be setting up on February 6th (the evening before the benefit) from 1-5PM at Block 37 (located at 108 North State Street, Chicago, IL 60602).
