The DFPA and Box Office will be closed Wednesday, Nov. 21st-Sunday, Nov. 25th to celebrate Thanksgiving and take some time to relax with our family and friends. We’ll be open again on Monday the 26th in preparation for our end-of-semester events and performances, but until then we’ll be stuffing our faces full of turkey (or tofurkey, as it may be). Be immersed in the nostalgia of your favorite childhood picture books with the Art Institute of Chicago‘s latest exhibition, Picturing Poetry! Six picture book illustrators, including Carin Berger, Brian Pinkney, and Peter Sís, contributed visual interpretations of modern poet’s like Robert Frost and classic pieces like Beowulf for this collection. Mundelein Rededication Celebration Recap

On Saturday, October 13, after months of construction and anticipation, we were finally ready to open the doors of the new Mundelein Center for the Fine and Performing Arts with a vibrant celebration of art in all its forms. Guided tours took patrons through new facilities and performance spaces, including the newly dedicated Newhart Family Theatre, Underground Laboratory Theatre, and Music Hall.
