Who would of thought mixing improvisational comedy and Shakespeare would be so hilarious? Beginning this Friday, May 18th at the Del Close Theatre (just a few blocks southwest of the Addison Red Line stop), The Improvised Shakespeare Co. will start their series of summer shows. Every Friday at 8 and 10:30PM until September 21st, this Elizabethan troop will be challenged to create a new Shakespearean play based on one audience member’s suggestion. Student Special for Harris Theatre Season Finale

As a special treat for the final concert of the 2012 “Music of the Baroque” season, Chicago’s Harris Theatre is offering $10 main floor tickets to all students! Residing on the north-end of downtown’s Millennium Park, this modern performance space hosts both dance and musical events. The season finale will be held Wednesday, May 23rd at 7PM featuring pieces by Mozart, Haydn, Dittersdorf, and Vanhal. Bring your family and friends to celebrate our graduating theatre talent! Come see our theatre grads in a final showcase filled with monologues, scenes, and portfolio presentations Monday, May 7th.
