Our collaborative Shakespeare festival with Western Illinois and Bradley is in full swing today as Western prepares for tonight’s performance of The War of the Roses, an adaptation of Shakespeare’s Henry VI plays. Tomorrow afternoon, students from Bradley University will also perform The Tempest on the Kathleen Mullady Stage. Tickets are selling out fast, so visit LUC.Tix.com to snatch up the empty seats.

Before you get bogged down with midterm assignments, channel your creativity into a cash-winning competition this month. This is just a reminder about the ongoing contest for Chicago visual arts students. The Union League Civic & Arts Foundation is set to award up to $30,000 to artists in three categories: photography, moving image, and a general category. Grab your tickets now for this week’s performances of Eleemosynary. This production, directed by senior Michelle Bradley, runs from Feb. 22 – Feb. 26.
