Yoga at the Zoo

These elephants strengthen their upper bodies, improve their balance, and achieve a sense of calm in crow pose.

Whether you are working on your cobra pose, lion pose, or monkey pose, you can head to the Lincoln Park Zoo to practice yoga with the animals themselves on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays at 9 AM.

The zoo’s basic adult yoga classes are geared toward beginner & intermediate levels, and will continue throughout September.

Each class costs $20 but zoo admission is free, so you can take the rest of the morning to enjoy this Chicago landmark. For location and direction information, click here.
