Now you’re prepared to attend the FREE lecture, by Tom McCormack entitled Compilation Nation: The Rise of the Supercut, hosted by the Museum of Contemporary Art. On February 19th, widely published New York writer and educator, Tom McCormack, will analogize the influence and evolution of  pop culture video compilations coined as “Supercuts.”

Supercuts recall some of the most memorable 20th century moments in film and have become significant for what our generation perceives as popular in our mass media and pop culture today! Interrelated with our electronically connected culture, this lecture will delve deeper into how artists are increasing using videos and media to make creative and inventive statements.
