American Legends

This season, the Joffrey Ballet will present American Legends as part of their 2013 Winter Program. From Wednesday, February 13, to Sunday, February 24, watch Chicago’s premiere ballet company as they dance the work of legendary choreographers on the  Auditorium Theatre stage.

The program will include Interplay by Jerome Robbins, Sea Shadow by Gerald Arpino, Nine Sinatra Songs by Twyla Tharp, and Son of Chamber Symphony, a new piece by Stanton Welch. From energetic and bright to sensual and sultry, this performance provides an excellent opportunity to experience high quality work that goes beyond purely classical repertoire.

If you take advantage of the Auditorium Theatre’s student rush tickets, you can enjoy this exciting collaboration of dance artists for as little as $15! To do so, bring your Loyola University ID to the box office one hour before the performance you wish to attend. Availability and prices may vary depending on the show.
