Attend the Annual Student Art Competition

The 2013 Annual Student Art Competition is upon us!

Our new visual arts exhibition in the Ralph Arnold Fine Arts Annex features original work from students. All entries were judged by Mary Lou Zelazny, a Chicago-based artist and professor at the Art Institute of Chicago. She has this to say about the competition:

“All of the entries were of a higher caliber than I’ve seen in the past and it was very difficult to choose. Credit should be given to the instructors responsible for their role in nurturing this artistic enthusiasm…I look for visual strength in three areas when looking at artwork. Those areas are emotional and psychological projection, intellectual and conceptual foundation, and technical and formal execution.

Check out the exhibition now until March 7.
